Job Description

As a Music Art Therapist at Creative Therapy Solutions, you will provide therapeutic services using music and art to individuals dealing with emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. You will guide clients in expressing themselves through creative means, promoting healing and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group therapy sessions incorporating music and art techniques.
• Conduct individual assessments to tailor therapy to clients' specific needs.
• Develop and implement creative therapeutic interventions to address emotional and behavioural issues.
• Document client progress and keep detailed and confidential records.
• Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Advocate for client-centered care, ensuring clients' voices are heard in their treatment.
• Explore innovative therapeutic methods and techniques to enhance service delivery.
• Support a safe and nurturing environment for all clients.
• Train support staff on the principles of music and art therapy.
• Participate in outreach programs to educate the community on the benefits of therapeutic arts.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience working with individuals with emotional or mental health issues.
