Job Description

The Mold Shop Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the production of molds within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will manage a talented team of mold makers, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met while optimizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mold production process and manage mold makers.
• Guarantee adherence to quality assurance protocols.
• Work closely with design teams to facilitate manufacturability.
• Maintain production records and reports for management.
• Streamline production processes to improve efficiency.
• Assess training needs and implement team development plans.
• Address production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
• Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in mold making or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mold making or a related field

Technical Skills

• Leadership
• CAD/CAM software
• Injection Molding Processes

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
