Job Description

As a Weather Observer, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing weather data using a variety of instruments. You will work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and collaborate with meteorological experts to provide forecasts and reports.

Responsibilities

• Utilise meteorological software packages to analyse data and generate forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection methodologies.
• Provide timely updates and insights on weather conditions for operational planning.
• Train and mentor junior staff on data collection and analysis techniques.
• Compile monthly reports summarising weather data trends and anomalies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Meteorology or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in meteorology or atmospheric sciences
