Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing various construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure developments, contributing to the enhancement of community spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate construction methods and procedures.
  • Ensure all designs consider sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Create and manage budgets for projects.
  • Lead safety audits and ensure the implementation of safety protocols.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with municipal authorities for project approvals and permits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • MSc in Civil Engineering or similar is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure

  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Certifications
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
Languages
