Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated General Practitioner to join our vibrant practice in Plymouth. This role involves diagnosing and treating various ailments, promoting health and wellbeing, and delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for community health.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and take detailed medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
• Work collaboratively with specialists and other healthcare providers.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the medical system.
• Advocate for patient health and well-being.
• Be involved in teaching and mentoring junior staff.
• Engage with community service initiatives to promote health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) is considered an asset

Experience

• At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
