Job Description

As a Motion Picture Projectionist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining film production equipment, ensuring seamless filming and editing processes. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality footage by collaborating with directors and cinematographers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for film shoots and ensure it is operational.
• Actively engage in pre-production meetings to understand filming requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing best practices for equipment usage.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
• Support the marketing team during promotional events by operating film displays.
• Maintain knowledge of safety protocols related to equipment handling.
• Contribute to a collaborative atmosphere that encourages innovation.
• Ensure all equipment is labelled and stored efficiently.
• Assist in post-production workflows by providing necessary footage.
• Participate in community events to promote the company and its projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training in film or media production is preferred

Experience

• Experience with different types of movie cameras and recording equipment is essential.
