Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Health Advisor to join our team in Leicester. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in environmental health to promote public health initiatives, conduct inspections, and collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections in various environments to enforce compliance with health regulations.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices for environmental health and safety.
• Create and maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and actions taken.
• Engage with communities to raise awareness of public health issues.
• Lead training sessions and workshops on health safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex health and safety challenges.
• Research and stay updated on environmental health issues and legislative changes.
• Assist in the development of health policies and regulations based on insights from field inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Public Health, or similar
• Postgraduate qualifications in Health or Environmental Policy preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in environmental health
