Drywall Finisher

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to complete all drywall installations and finishes in residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching holes, and sanding rough spots.
• Apply drywall joint compound and install corner beads.
• Tape and finish drywall surfaces to a smooth finish.
• Repair or replace damaged drywall as required.
• Paint and texture drywall surfaces when necessary.
• Complete projects within established timelines.
• Assist with planning and coordination of work activities with the team.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Drywall Finishing Programme or Apprenticeship

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in drywall installation and finishing.
