Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background and a passion for driving improvements to production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and redesign production layouts for optimal efficiency.
• Utilise Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
• Implement automated solutions to enhance productivity.
• Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure materials availability.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives.
• Lead initiatives for waste reduction and resource efficiency.
• Conduct performance reviews of existing processes and recommend enhancements.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with product standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting with a focus on process improvement

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
