Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Equipment Operator to handle a variety of machinery including forklifts, cranes, and excavators. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. This role is essential to maintain our operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operational checks on machinery and perform regular maintenance.
• Ensure efficient loading and unloading of materials, minimising downtime.
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel to coordinate operations.
• Record and report any incidents or near-misses in a timely manner.
• Assist with site layout planning and implementation.
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and training needs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Prior experience operating mobile equipment in a similar industry.
