Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing clinical consultations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimise patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacy initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Provide expert advice on drug therapies, formulary management, and medication protocols.
• Serve as a resource for staff on clinical issues and medication safety.
• Engage with community health programs to enhance public health education.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a clinical or community pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy Practice
• Therapeutic Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
