Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate credentials and qualifications of our staff, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role will involve working closely with healthcare professionals to verify credentials and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor credentialing timelines and ensure timely renewals and submissions.
  • Facilitate effective communication between staff and external credentialing agencies.
  • Assist with implementation of software tools for better record management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Work with the HR department to onboard new hires and ensure credential alignment.
  • Support the training of new staff on credentialing policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare credentialing role.
