Job Description

As a Power Plant Operator, you will monitor and oversee the operations of our control room, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently, demonstrating your expertise in managing critical processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the control room operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Report on plant operations to management, providing critical data for decision-making.
• Train and mentor junior operators as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for scheduled downtime and repairs.
• Keep abreast of industry practices and regulations to maintain high standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training in control room operations or a related field preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a control room environment or similar field

Technical Skills

• SCADA Systems
• PLC Systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies: Understanding of lean principles to improve efficiency.
• Experience with preventative maintenance: Proficient in troubleshooting and performing maintenance tasks.
