Job Description

We are searching for a Cyber Defense Incident Responder to join our cybersecurity team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our digital assets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in incident detection, analysis, and response to various cybersecurity incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Lead incident response efforts in high-stakes situations.
  • Provide detailed post-incident reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Immerse in proactive threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security awareness trainings for staff.
  • Assist in performing penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security tools and controls.
  • Contribute to policy development surrounding cybersecurity practices.
  • Facilitate coordination with law enforcement for major incidents.
  • Stay informed of legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Professional certifications such as CISM or GIAC preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident response roles
