Foiling Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Foiling Machine Operator, you will be at the forefront of our production process, operating the foiling machine to create high-quality stamped products. You’ll ensure that the machine runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our production goals and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the foiling machine to operation specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
• Train new employees on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Keep detailed records of production counts, defects, and machine maintenance.
• Assist in the inventory of materials and supplies.
• Implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a printing or packaging environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of foiling machine software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automation technologies: Knowledge of automated systems in printing processes.
• Ability to train others: Experience in onboarding and mentoring new staff.
