Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our business objectives. You will manage supplier relationships and lead a team of procurement specialists to ensure efficient purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee purchasing strategies for assigned categories.
  • Evaluate and improve supplier performance to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing accordingly.
  • Manage supplier risk and develop contingency plans.
  • Report on procurement metrics to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior procurement staff.
