Quality Systems Director

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Director to oversee and manage our quality control processes and systems. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee quality benchmarks that align with the corporate objectives.
• Lead the development and training of the quality assurance team.
• Assess risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance product quality.
• Implement continuous improvement programs based on statistical analysis.
• Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Interface with external regulators and ensure compliance is maintained.
• Prepare documentation for audits and manage the audit process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or similar
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 10+ years in a senior quality management role

Technical Skills

• Quality assurance best practices
• ERP systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in an international quality management system: Practical experience in managing quality across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in pharmaceuticals: Strong understanding of compliance requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
