Job Description

A log washer position is available in the vibrant city of Bristol. As a Log Washer, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing logs prior to their further processing in the timber industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all logs meet the company's high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilise washing techniques to ensure the logs meet quality standards.
• Report any issues with machinery or logs to the Production Manager.
• Keep the work area tidy and free of obstructions.
• Work proactively to optimise log cleaning processes.
• Participate in training sessions for safety and equipment handling.
• Engage in teamwork to streamline production processes.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required.

Experience

• Prior experience in log washing or similar timber industry roles is preferred.
