Job Description

As a Blow Torch Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining blow torch equipment for welding, soldering, and cutting metal materials. Your skill in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints will be key in ensuring the completion of high-quality fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise blow torch and welding equipment to cut and shape metal components.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Interpret and apply safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Assist team members in identifying areas for process improvements.
  • Document all completed jobs and maintain inventory of materials.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and safety practices.
  • Monitor the quality of work and assist in training junior operators.
  • Adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in a similar role
