Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Building Surveyor to join our Salisbury office. This role requires expertise in managing surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess structural integrity of buildings.
• Prepare and present reports for various projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate potential issues.
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in cost estimation and budget planning for projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates.
• Ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
• Chartered status with RICS is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in building surveying

• Planning Software
• Health and Safety Regulations

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• RICS Registered Valuer
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
