Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing valuable insights to improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and accounting principles.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct quarterly and annual audits and serve as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency in accounting functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ACCA/ACA certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
