Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Fine Arts Professor to join our esteemed institution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching students various art forms including painting, sculpture, and art history.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and workshops across various fine arts disciplines.
  • Create dynamic course content that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Mentor students in developing portfolios for further education or careers in the arts.
  • Conduct research and publish findings in reputable art journals.
  • Coordinate departmental events and exhibitions showcasing student talent.
  • Engage with local art institutions and galleries for collaborative opportunities.
  • Provide support to students in utilizing art-related software and tools.
  • Uphold a high standard of academic integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Continually assess and refine teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity in art and expression.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Fine Arts or related discipline
  • PhD in Fine Arts is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in higher education teaching, preferably in fine arts
