Job Description

As an Orthotic Prosthetic Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing patients' mobility. You will design, fit, and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure tailored solutions that meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures on algal physiology and aquatic plant ecology.
  • Create innovative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and incorporate modern teaching methodologies.
  • Conduct research and publish findings in reputable scientific journals.
  • Mentor students through academic challenges and support their research projects.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Utilize technology and online platforms for educational delivery and student engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field
  • Teaching qualification preferred
Experience
  • Experience in research or industry in the field of Algology is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of algae cultivation techniques
  • Familiarity with scientific software such as MatLab or R
