Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chemical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that concrete materials meet quality standards and specifications, contributing to various construction projects. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the overall quality assurance process, ensuring safety and compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyse concrete samples to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Document and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the maintenance of testing equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance material quality and performance.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians.
• Conduct routine inspections of materials on-site.
• Participate in project meetings to report on material testing results.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on material testing.
