Job Description

As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety strategies to promote a safe working environment. You will work closely with management and staff to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, providing expert advice on health and safety issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage workplace health risks and promote proactive health initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance employee wellbeing.
  • Facilitate employee health screenings and vaccinations.
  • Provide advice on ergonomic assessments and workplace modifications.
  • Review and analyse health data to inform workplace health strategies.
  • Stay updated on occupational health trends and legislation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on health topics.
  • Implement health promotion activities and wellness programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Public Health or Occupational Health
  • Relevant certifications in occupational health management are an advantage
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
