Job Description

A nail galvanizer is responsible for applying protective coatings to nails to prevent corrosion. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and durability of nails used in various construction projects. The successful candidate will be integral to our production team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare nails effectively for the galvanizing process.
• Ensure proper application of protective coatings through careful monitoring.
• Conduct quality inspections, removing any non-compliant products.
• Document production outputs and quality checks accurately.
• Uphold strict compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with other production staff to achieve efficiency.
• Carry out maintenance on galvanizing machinery as required.
• Diagnose and rectify any issues with equipment promptly.
• Engage in team discussions to explore enhancements in galvanizing procedures.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in metalwork or a similar manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
