Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. As an FP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and implementing fire protection systems and strategies to ensure the safety of our facilities. This role is pivotal in developing effective fire prevention plans, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for new and existing facilities.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training for staff on fire safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire safety into building designs.
  • Monitor and evaluate fire protection systems post-installation for effectiveness.
  • Lead fire safety workshops and seminars for employees and clients.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for fire safety compliance audits.
  • Engage with local authorities to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Research and apply innovative fire protection technologies.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets related to fire safety systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
  • Membership in professional engineering organizations (e.g., Institution of Fire Engineers)
Experience
  • 5 years or more in fire protection engineering roles, with significant project experience.
