Job Description

The Tank House Operator will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of tanks that house chemicals and liquids essential for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that tanks are well-maintained, operational, and comply with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of tanks for chemical storage and processing.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and address potential issues proactively.
  • Evaluate the suitability of materials stored in tanks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new staff on tank operations and safety measures.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in hazardous materials management or related field preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is an advantage
Technical Skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing tanks
  • Experience in working with hazardous chemicals
