Parking Attendant / Truck Spotter

Job Description

As a Baggage Porter and Bellhop at our luxury hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their arrival and departure are handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Your role will involve managing luggage, providing information, and offering assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directing truck drivers to the appropriate areas within the facility using two-way radios.
• Working closely with logistics coordinators to ensure timely operations.
• Keeping accurate records of all truck activities and addressing any discrepancies.
• Performing regular safety checks on all vehicles being operated.
• Assisting in planning routes and schedules for truck movement.
• Enforcing health and safety regulations at all times.
• Training and mentoring junior team members in best practices.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the parking and loading areas.
• Responding swiftly to any operational issues that arise.
• Assisting in other logistics-related tasks as directed by the management.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Truck Spotter or in a similar role preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
