Cable Splicer Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a Cable Splicer Helper to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation and repair of cables, including overhead and underground lines. A strong willingness to learn and work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in digging trenches and lifting heavy materials.
• Work in outdoor conditions, prepared for all types of weather.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cable systems.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of safety practices.
• Work closely with cable splicers to learn and develop skills.

Requirements

Education

• Any additional certifications in telecommunications or electrical work are advantageous

Experience

• Experience working at heights or with confined spaces is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Experience with heavy machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Additional training in safety measures is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in a construction environment: Background in a physical job requiring heavy lifting and teamwork.
