Job Description

As a Public Health Advisor in Luton, you will play a key role in developing and implementing health strategies to enhance community wellbeing. This includes working closely with stakeholders to identify health needs and deliver effective health promotion initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community outreach programs to raise public awareness of health issues.
  • Implement strategies to enhance community engagement in health services.
  • Work with the local council to influence public health policy.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on health promotion.
  • Develop informational materials for public distribution.
  • Conduct research to inform public health initiatives and policy.
  • Provide training sessions for new public health staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in public health roles
