Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Correctional Officers, you will oversee the daily operations of a correctional facility. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining order and discipline, ensuring safety, and supervising the correctional staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative operations and report to upper management.
  • Manage incident reporting systems and protocols.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation strategies.
  • Collaborate with medical and psychological staff for inmate care.
  • Assist in policy development regarding inmate management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor physical security measures within the facility.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Security or law enforcement training/certification (desired)
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corrections

Certifications
