Machine Folder

Job Description

As a Machine Folder, you'll play a pivotal role within our Document Processing team, operating and maintaining various folding machines to ensure optimal production output. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in machine operation and a keen understanding of different material types and folding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of folding machines, optimising them for different materials.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
• Provide support in training new operators on machine functionalities.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace in line with health and safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies used in folding.
• Utilise effective problem-solving skills to address machine-related issues swiftly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or apprenticeship in machine operation preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating and maintaining folding machines

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Experience in using CAD software for technical drawings and designs.
