Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our York team. The successful candidate will advise clients on tax issues, ensuring compliance with legislation while optimising financial outcomes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' financial situations to offer tax-saving opportunities.
• Draft and deliver presentations on tax-related topics to clients.
• Manage relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
• Assist clients in navigating complex compliance requirements.
• Participate in networking events to promote services and acquire new clients.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance expertise.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Taxation or related field
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a tax advisory role
