Mental Health Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with mental health conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the mental health of patients.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Provide direct patient care and emotional support.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions.
• Document care and interventions in patient records.
• Collaborate with external agencies when required.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of mental health programs and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Master's degree in Mental Health Nursing preferred

Experience

• Experience in an acute mental health setting is advantageous
