We're on the lookout for a Financial Analyst in Cardiff who will play a pivotal role in our financial planning and analysis team. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical skills to unearth insights that drive key business decisions and enhance company performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to inform business strategy.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and performance metrics.
• Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Identify and analyze financial trends to inform decision-making.
• Work collaboratively across teams to enhance financial planning.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Conduct variance analysis and report findings.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.
• Create robust financial models to evaluate market opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Master's degree or professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a financial analyst position or similar field

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or 2 (preferred)
