Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Birmingham office. This role involves managing financial statements, preparing budgets, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting principles and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end financial statements and manage closing processes.
• Assist in the implementation of financial software tools.
• Conduct variance analysis on budgets and forecasts.
• Support the finance team with daily accounting tasks.
• Review and approve invoices for payment.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Participate in financial planning and decision-making processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in accounting, with exposure to financial analysis.

Certifications
