Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Airset Caster to be a vital part of our team. The successful applicant will operate and manage the Airset molding machine, ensuring the production of high-quality sand molds while maintaining safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate Airset molding machines and associated equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections of molds and report any issues.
• Assist in training new team members on machinery operation.
• Work with engineers to improve production techniques.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and safety protocols.
• Support a team-oriented culture by collaborating with peers.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in molding or casting are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a foundry environment

Technical Skills

• Mold Inspection Techniques
• Safety Regulations Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate additional foundry equipment: Experience with machines such as furnaces and shakeout machines.
