Join our dynamic team as a Wildlife Research Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing conservation projects that protect wildlife and their habitats. This role involves field surveys, data collection, and engaging with local communities to foster sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of wildlife research programmes.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Forge partnerships with other researchers and organisations.
  • Utilise GIS and mapping tools to analyse habitat usage.
  • Prepare scientific papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Support community engagement efforts to promote conservation awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Train junior researchers and volunteers on data collection and analysis.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Wildlife Conservation is highly valued
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in wildlife research or ecology
