Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Conservation Scientist to support our commitment to biodiversity. The role involves conducting research, implementing conservation strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop methodologies for biodiversity assessments and habitat restoration.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for community members on sustainable practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation activities.
  • Liaise with governmental and non-governmental organisations to align goals.
  • Research emerging threats to biodiversity and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or a related field
  • PhD is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in ecological assessment and project management
