We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Advisor to join our Nottingham office. In this role, you will provide expert tax advice to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of tax regulations. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients meet their tax obligations while maximising their tax efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored tax strategies for a diverse clientele.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and improved compliance.
• Engage with clients to provide expert advice on personal and business tax matters.
• Work alongside clients during audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and their implications for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Taxation or a related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting

Technical Skills

• Financial analysis

Soft Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with international taxation: Knowledge of cross-border taxation and compliance issues.
