Job Description

We are actively seeking a seasoned Computer and Information Systems Manager to lead our IT department. This role involves managing technology development, improving systems, and ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operations of the IT department, ensuring strategic alignment with overall business goals.
• Evaluate and integrate new information technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure and ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and robust.
• Lead initiatives to enhance data security and protect the organisation against cyber threats.
• Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices to foster efficiency and scalability.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate technology-related risks.
• Manage IT budgets and forecast resource needs to effectively support ongoing projects.
• Oversee user training and technical support, ensuring staff are equipped to utilise IT resources effectively.
• Interface with stakeholders to understand technology needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Promote a culture of innovation within the IT department to embrace emerging technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Information Systems is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in cloud platforms: Knowledge in AWS or Azure certifications is advantageous.
