Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our vibrant team in Bristol. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals, ensuring their comfort and care during visits.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with veterinarians to assess animal health.
  • Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures.
  • Collect samples for diagnostic testing.
  • Document and track vaccination schedules.
  • Provide exceptional client service and follow-up care.
  • Assist in surgical preparations and post-op care.
  • Keep up with new veterinary practices and techniques.
  • Manage appointments and schedule follow-ups.
  • Educate clients about preventive health care.
  • Assist in training junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Health or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
