We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our vibrant team in Leeds. This role is pivotal in optimising our deployment processes and ensuring a seamless integration between development and operations. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in cloud computing and automation tools.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to increase development efficiency.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Work alongside software engineering teams to deploy and manage applications.
  • Conduct system performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies for critical systems.
  • Provide support for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • AWS Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Docker Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker.
  • Kubernetes Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Terraform Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
  • Linux Experienced in Linux systems administration and scripting.
  • Communication Effective communicator who can convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Teamwork Collaborative team player who works well in cross-functional teams.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working within Agile teams or methodologies preferred.
