Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our team in London. The successful candidate will implement and monitor security measures to protect our IT infrastructure and data. This role demands a proactive mindset to identify vulnerabilities and apply appropriate countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance existing security measures to identify areas for improvement.
• Actively monitor network traffic for unusual activity.
• Coordinate and communicate with law enforcement regarding cyber threats.
• Prepare reports for management on the status of information security.
• Assist in the preparation of security awareness programs for employees.
• Liaise with other security professionals to share knowledge and experiences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cyber Security is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of critical infrastructure protection: Proficiency in safeguarding critical infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001: Experience with ISO 27001 standards and implementation processes.
