Stocker and Order Filler

Job Description

As a Stocker and Order Filler, you will play a crucial role in selecting and preparing customer orders for timely shipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick products from designated shelves or storage areas.
• Ensure that the correct quantity and product codes are picked.
• Pack items securely and prepare them for shipment.
• Use handheld scanners or computer systems to update inventory records.
• Assist in stocktaking and cycle counting activities.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions to ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Support the maintenance of a hazard-free workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Inventory tracking software
• Barcode scanners

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Physical stamina

Certifications

• Valid forklift certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with inventory management systems: Familiarity with systems that track stock levels and order fulfillment.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of equipment: A knack for quickly resolving minor issues with handling equipment.
