We are seeking a talented Theatre Set Designer to join our innovative production team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing creative and functional sets for a variety of performances. Your skills in visual storytelling and collaboration with directors and other creatives will be key in bringing productions to life.

Responsibilities

• Create original designs that align with the vision of each production.
• Assist with the selection of props and scenic elements to enhance sets.
• Coordinate with various departments, including lighting and sound, to ensure cohesive production design.
• Manage schedules and timelines for set design and construction.
• Assist in the planning of set changes and effects during performances.
• Stay updated on design trends and techniques in theatre production.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Theatre Design or a relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience leading set design projects

Technical Skills

• Theatrical Lighting Design
• Construction Experience

Certifications

• Certified Set Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
