Job Description

As an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their unique educational needs. You will work closely with our Special Education team to implement IEPs and ensure that students achieve their academic goals through tailored assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in both academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Plan and deliver small group interventions for students.
  • Monitor students' emotional and social needs.
  • Work with the Special Education team to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust educational strategies as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in adapting curriculum materials for diverse learners.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Special Education or related field preferred
Experience
  • Experience in an educational setting is preferable.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of SEN

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Additional qualifications in education or child development: Should have supplementary qualifications or training relevant to educational support.
