As a Water Taxi Boat Mate, you will play a vital role in assisting the boat captain to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our water taxi services in the heart of London. This dynamic position requires a strong commitment to customer safety and satisfaction, along with a proactive approach in performing routine boat maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the captain in navigation and operation of the water taxi.
• Conduct safety checks before each journey.
• Assist with loading and unloading passenger luggage when required.
• Engage with passengers and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle cash transactions and ticketing processes.
• Help in maintaining a welcoming environment aboard the water taxi.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of equipment as needed.
• Participate in safety training and drills.

Requirements

Education

• Holder of RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate

Experience

• Experience in customer service is highly advantageous.
