Job Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to join our Coventry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing renewable energy systems, including solar panels and wind turbines. You will ensure that systems are working efficiently and effectively while providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up wind turbines and maintain their operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all renewable energy systems.
  • Assist in the design and planning of energy systems based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system designs.
  • Educate clients on energy conservation and sustainability practices.
  • Monitor system performance and report issues to the Operations Manager.
  • Participate in training sessions for new technicians and apprentices.
  • Develop and recommend improvements in system efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Renewable Energy or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCS, CERTS) preferred
  • Electrical Systems Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
  • Solar Technology Experience in installing and maintaining solar technology.
  • Wind Technology Familiarity with wind turbine technology and maintenance.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Adept at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Teamwork Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Renewable Energy Technician Certification
  • Health and Safety Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with energy management systems: Familiarity with software systems used for energy consumption monitoring.
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices: Understanding of best practices in sustainability and energy efficiency.
